I am a doctoral student at Georgia State University, where I am receiving interdisciplinary training through my Masters in Public Health while working on my PhD in Community Psychology. I bring a systems-level analysis to my work to understand how micro- and macro-systemic factors influence our behavior and societal issues. My specific research areas include the perpetration of sexual violence against women; more broadly, I am interested in aggressive behavior and addressing social issues. I have worked with non-profit organizations including Kate’s Club and the Atlanta-area Evaluation Association. I have conducted evaluations with governmental institutions including the Georgia Department of Public Health, Injury Prevention Program conducting an evaluation at the state-level to measure the number and efficacy of organizational collaborations across the state. I have also worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Health Equity conducting an evaluation of undergraduate and graduate public health scholars of racial and ethnic minorities sponsored for internships across the nation.
